A very large amount of the energy generated to heat a house is lost through an uninsulated roof. Whether you own an old house or are planning to build a new one, the UdiTOP® SYSTEM provides you with an uncomplicated, ecological and energy efficient means of reducing your heating bills.

Don’t look any further! The UdiTOP® SYSTEM is totally safe, causing no health problems at all. This factor combined with its excellent building physics values makes it the right insulation system for you.

 

The UdiTOP® SYSTEM deliberately does not employ water vapour barriers thereby ensuring that the walls can breathe - allowing a natural moisture exchange between the interior and exterior airflows. The UdiTOP® SYSTEM blocks the radiation of the cold from the external walls and ensures that the interior walls remain warm, thereby creating a healthy and comfortable room climate.

 

The UdiTOP® SYSTEM combines environmentally-friendliness with positive, health-promoting properties: The UdiTOP® SYSTEM provides a sophisticated combination of excellent thermal insulation and moisture diffusion in one. The result is an optimal interior insulation system that means you don’t have to make compromises.

 

Unger-Diffutherm’s tried and trusted flexible wood-fibre insulation UdiFLEX is perfectly complemented by the UdiSTEAM SYSTEM which guarantees the air- and wind tightness of the system to further reduce energy losses. Unger-Diffutherm is the one-stop provider for top quality protection against the effects of weather – heat, cold and moisture - combined with excellent sound-proofing properties.

UdiFLEX is suitable for use in the following areas:

• Insulation between rafters, double-skin roofs, covered or non-covered attic floors

• Interior insulation of ceilings and roofs, insulation under the rafters of the bearer construction, suspended ceilings etc.

• Exterior wall insulation behind cladding; in connection with the UdiFRONT composite thermal insulation system in timber-framed

   constructions or curtain walls

• The insulation of timber-framed constructions and other similar timber constructions

• The insulation of partition walls

• Not suitable for installation in areas subject to continuous loading pressures

• Interior wall insulation

• Operating temperature max. 120°C

To provide your building with a wind-tight protective layer, we are pleased to offer our versatile, vapour-permeable,

wood-fibre sark board for all types of rear-ventilated roof and wall areas.

UdiTOP Premium is available in 22 and 33 mm insulation thicknesses with tongue and groove edges around the whole circumference.

Lambda: 0.052 W/ mK, Apparent density: 260 kg/ m³.
